Frequently asked questions.

  • Should I book a wedding planner or coordinator?

That decision is entirely up to you, but if its in the budget we definitely would suggest it! Booking a wedding planner or coordinator can add a really nice touch to your wedding, save time, manage your budget, establish vendor relationships, pay attention to detail, ensure smooth and seamless execution on the wedding day, and more than anything reduce a ton of stress leading up to and especially on the day of your wedding!

  • Can I pick my own engagement shoot location?

Yes, of course! That decision is ultimately up to you, but we always suggest to shoot at locations we know will be a compliment to your photos. It’s not uncommon for people to suggest a location but fail to recognize the lack of flattering light quality or direction. On top of that sometimes people don’t account for the background, which may be an eye sore or distracting. For that reason we provide a list of preferred locations.

  • Does 8 hrs of coverage mean I receive an 8 hour long video?

If someone books the base package, which is a wedding video highlight, the video usually will range roughly 7-10 min long. We have found that length to be the sweet spot for a heart warming wedding video. We are there to capture highlights and moments of the requested 8 hour period, not a continuous recording of that time. That being said, we do offer longer videos as an addition to the base package.

  • Do you have suggestions for engagement shoot outfits?

Yes we do! The color or pattern of your outfit can definitely take away from your photos or add to the beauty of them. For that reason we send send a style guide to help point out which colors or patterns may be more of a distraction than a compliment.

  • How do I download and share my wedding video?

Once your video had been completed, you will be sent a download link. Whether on a phone or computer, click the link and make sure to download your video in the highest resolution available. If on your phone, after downloading the video, navigate to your “Files” folder. Look for your video in the folder, click on it, and after it opens, click the share icon, then click “Save Video”. Your video should now be available in your photo album and available to upload to your social media platform of your choice! Video tutorial coming soon!

  • How long do I have to download my photos or video?

You have 3 months from the time you receive a link for your video or photo gallery to download the files. Make sure you save a copy of your video or photos to a secure hard drive. We also recommend backing that copy up on another hard drive and also somewhere on the cloud, where you know you will always have access to a copy for the years to come!

  • Who captures the photos and who the video?

Both Mady and Tyler are lead photographers, but if you book us as a video/photo duo Mady captures the photos and Tyler the video. If you book photos only, either Mady or Tyler could be your photographer, and if you just book video, Tyler will capture the video.
